Almatyteplokommunenergo LLP is one of the largest producers of thermal energy in the city of Almaty. Conducts activities in the field of energy efficiency management and infrastructure development in Almaty. Within the framework of engineering activities, it carries out maintenance and servicing of water treatment equipment at boiler houses, including inspection of equipment, minor repairs at the expense of maintenance funds, repairs with replacement of components at the expense of additional funds, adjustment of regime maps and operating instructions and training of operating personnel. He is a partner of the department in the practice bases of students of the educational program "Heat Power Engineering".
 

 

 JSC "Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company "KEGOC" was established in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 1996 No. 1188 "On certain measures for the structural restructuring of the management of the energy system of the Republic of Kazakhstan". KEGOC JSC performs the functions of the System Operator of the Unified Electric Power System of the Republic of Kazakhstan, owns and manages the assets of the National Electric Grid (NES). The main activities belong to the sphere of natural monopoly. The Company employs more than 4 thousand people. It is a part of the state holding "Samruk-Kazyna". The company's mission is reliable operation and effective development of the UES of Kazakhstan in accordance with modern technical, economic, environmental challenges, standards of professional safety and health protection. He actively cooperates with the department on research activities and professional practice of students and undergraduates of the educational program "Heat Power Engineering" and "Technical Physics".

 

 

The Institute of Information and Computational Technologies (formerly IPIС) was established in September, 1991 for intensive and purposeful development of fundamental and applied research in the field of computer science and control in Kazakhstan and scientific provision of the Republic informatization program. The Institute has 319 employees, including 3 academicians, 3 honored scientists. 151 have a degree from the total number of employees of the In-stitute: 56 doctors of science, 95 candidates and PhD, 97 masters. The Insti-tute employs 247 young scientists under the age of 40 years. The mission of the institute is informatization of society and implementation of fundamental and applied research in computer science, management and modeling.
