VIRTUAL SCHOOL ORGANIZED BY AL-FARBI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY « LITERATURE AND MEDIA SPACE»

Recently, researchers of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature: Acting professors Mizanbekov S.K., associate professor Galai K.N., senior teachers: Shanaev R.U., Ismailova Sh.A., Kulbaeva A.Zh., have received a letter of thanks from the Faculty of Philology of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia for organizing a virtual school: "Literature and media space". Topical issues of modern literature transformation and its values ​​in the era of digitalization and information space and the prospects for its further development in the context of mediation were discussed in real time.

     Within the framework of the school, students and experts in the field of literature, philology, journalism and public relations considered electronic media and forms of presentation of modern literature on the radio, television programs about literature and writers; multimedia books and gamebooks as a new literary reality; literature in magazines, advertising, and even cinema in historical retrospect.

 

       The theme of the school aroused a great interest not only among scholars but also among students who took an active participation in discussions. Fariza Abdraimova, RUDN- Al-Farabi KazNU double-diploma master student, majoring in “Russian language and literature” made the presentation about the tendencies of children’s periodical literature development in the conditions of Soviet cultural traditions.
