“Kazakhstan in Contemporary International Relations: under the banner of independence” devoted to the 25th anniversary of International Relations Department of KazNU named after al-Farabi
On November 12th, 2020 in the frame of international scientific practical conference “Kazakhstan in Contemporary International Relations: under the banner of independence” devoted to the 25th anniversary of International Relations Department of KazNU named after al-Farabi, an international scientific and practical conference “Relevant methods of Teaching foreign languages and Translation studies courses” was organized and held by the Chair of Diplomatic Translations. Languages of this conferences: Kazakh, Russian, English, French and German. Scientists and experts in higher education from domestic and foreign universities took part in this conference.Namely, 1. Berny Sébe- Professor of the Birmingham University (UK);2. Akkari A. Professor of the Geneve University (Switzerland);3. Licia Bagini, Professor of the University of Poitiers (France);4. Claude Albagli- President of the Cedimes Institut (France);5. Maria Delivanis Negreponti – Honoured Rector of the Thesaloniki University (Grece); 6. Erdjan Alkaya – Professor of the Firat University (Turkey); 7. Rossana Valéria de Souza e Silva, PhD, Professor and Executive Director of Grupo Coimbra de Universidades Brasileiras (Brazil);8. Alina Ganea - Professor of the Universitatea Dunarea de Jos Galati (Romania);9. Radova O.K. Professor of the İstanbul Üniversitesi (Turkey);10. Mirzaev Ibodulla – Samarkand State University(Uzbekistan);Participants of local universities: 11. Sabri Hizmetli – Rector of The University of Foreign Languages and Professional Career (Kazakhstan). Professors from Kazakh Ablai Khan university of IR and WL, KazNPU named after Abay, Kazakh State Women’s Pedagogical University, Kainar Academy and SDU took an active part in the conference and shared views on modern methods of teaching foreign languages and translation studies. Plans were projected on further development of international cooperation with foreign partner universities, strengthening academic mobility and joint projects.In general conference has fulfilled its main objectives. We hope that it was useful and interesting experience for all participants.
