Department of World history, historiography and source studies of the Faculty of history, archeology and ethnology together with the Central state archive of film and sound documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central state archive of scientific and technical documentation of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an event the theme: "The Tradition reborn: tradition and modernity»with the participation of students of 1st, 4th years and 2nd year undergraduates of specialty "Archival science, scientific discipline of documentation and documentation provision". The film "Life of Kazakhstan" (1927) was shown by the film Studio "Vostokkino", the students prepared presentations about the traditions of the Kazakh people, students performed Kazakh folk works as well.
