Research internship at Taltech University

From 12/08/2021 to 12/17/2021, AP09259851 “Development of a circular economy in Kazakhstan: potential, trends, prospects” project team members  Zhidebekkyzy A. and Temerbulatova Zh. completed a scientific internship at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

Tallinn University of Technology is a public higher education institution in Estonia. The university began its activities in 1918. Tallinn University of Technology is traditionally included in the top 5% of the best universities in the world.

Activities carried out following the internship:

1) Study of Estonia’s experience in the development of the circular economy (analysis of framework documents, study of measures and practices, comparative analysis of indicators used to assess the progress of the development of the circular economy);

2) Consultation with leading scientists from the TalTech School of Business and Management who are engaged in research on the circular economy;

3) Meeting with representatives of companies adhering to the principles of circularity;

4) Discussion of the possibility of concluding a memorandum of cooperation between universities with the leadership of the School of Business and Management of Tallinn University of Technology.
