Scientific internship at the University of Tsukuba

Baltabay Tomiris, a second-year masters student majoring in Economics, received the opportunity to complete a research internship at the University of Tsukuba (Japan). SDG 17 "Partnerships for the goals" is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN for the period up to 2030.

This university is among the top 10 universities in Japan. The master's student was assigned a supervisor, professor - Shigeno Ryuchi, who specializes in agricultural research.

The master's student studies the topic "Climate change and its impact on food security". Together with the professor, they are considering this topic regarding Kazakhstan and Japan. The master's student was awarded a JASSO” scholarship for her research.
