LG held an open lecture on "Brand Communication Tools" for the students of Kazakh National University

An open lecture on "Brand Communication Tools" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. According to LG EdTech education project, Natalya Novikova, Corporate Marketing Director of LG Electronics Almaty Kazakhstan, conducted the event attended by more than 160 students.

 

The LG EdTech volunteer project is based on sharing the opportunities to pupils and students to acquaint with the realities of the chosen direction, and inspire for further education.

Natalya has more than 20 years of practical experience in the field of marketing and advertising. She spoke about trends in the industry, modern marketing tools, the latest instruments of PR communications - such as Phygital, CSR (business social responsibility) and ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance), with examples of LG projects, realized in Kazakhstan and around the world.

 

The participants of the masterclass got a unique opportunity to look through the eyes of a PR expert at the interaction of the customer with the company, product or service. Students learned what tools help to effectively communicate key brand messages to the target audience - such as caring for nature and ecology or home ecosystem for health.

The lecture focused on the practical application of PR to form a positive company brand and the use of different channels to distribute this information to the widest audience. As part of the practical task, each student could try to create an outstanding slogan. One of the lecture participants won an innovative gadget - LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. The LG PuriCare mask has two HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which capture 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and other harmful particles size from 0.1 micron.

Also for the lecture, the company prepared videos about the work of media representatives, students could see how news is made on television and what skills a professional radio host should have. At the end of the lecture, the famous TV and radio host Nazyma Gadilbek became the guest star of the event. Her presentation was devoted to the author's practical voice enhancement techniques, which is an important skill for future PR specialists.
