As invited professors, Chun Byong-Soon and Myong Soon-ok in the Department of Far East Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, visited for special lectures to the undergraduate, master, and doctorate students in the School of Humanity of Eastern Finland University (EFU, Finland, March 22); in the Faculty of Philology of University of Complutense Madrid (UCM, Spain, March 25) from 20-28 March, 2019.

The lectures of the two Universities have been given with themes “Insecurity in East Asia with nuclear weapon of North Korea” by Chun Byong-soon and “Vulnerable human civilization, and Asian Community” by Myong Soon-ok, respectively, under the international project of Oneasia, Japan.

The Course of Asian Community in the Complutense University of Madrid since 2017 and Eastern Finland University this year have started running while having conducted since 2012 in Al Farabi KazNU.

One Asia Foundation supports financially scholars and universities that participate to come together toward Asian Community which pursue prosperity, stability, and co-existence among Asian countries, and is considered as a process to contribute to a peaceful global community. Now over 300 universities of the world are attending at this project.
