Article for discussion

On the eve of the end of the academic year and the beginning of examinations for students, the Department of Biostatistics and Evidence Medicine of the Medical Faculty of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi invites you to the last meeting of the Journal Club in this academic year, which will be held on April 28, 2018 (Saturday) at 14.00 in conference hall on the 1st floor of the Medical Faculty.

With the doctoral student of the 1 st course of the scientific and pedagogical direction in public health specialty Sultanova Balnur, on the example of the scientific article "Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes", we will conduct an objective analysis of the scientific article based on the identification of the authors' position and reasoning by its facts. It is fairly easy to identify the main content of the article without analyzing it thoroughly. A good critical analysis reflects the impressions caused by the article and the argumentation.

A critical evaluation of the publication in the medical literature will help our students and teachers avoid possible mistakes in writing their own articles and contribute to the formation of research and development skills.
