On February 22, 2024, Professor SAKURAI TAKEAKI of the University of Tsukuba visited the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The purpose of the professor’s visit is to see and study the readiness of the faculties to host the 10th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Campus project on the Campus.
Deputy Dean for Scientific and Innovation Work and International Relations of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics N.S. Doszhan met the guests and gave a tour for delegates to laboratories No. 512 “Laboratory of Space Technologies”, and No. 106 “Laboratory of Liquid and Gas Mechanics” together with the deputy head of the Department of Mechanics K.A. Alibaeva.
During the meeting, the delegation was introduced to the activities of the faculty's scientific and educational laboratories and joint scientific projects with the University of Tokyo were presented.
