The course "Kazakh Language Course" for Iranian students in the fall semester of the faculty of Oriental studies of al-Farabi Kazakh national University has been completed

On December 26, 2020, the first semester of the "Kazakh Language Course" for Iranian students completed. The course was organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for students from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Allame Tabatabai University. The course was led by PhD student Gulbakyt Kudaibergenova and second-year doctoral student Kaluash Zhetpisbayeva. The students, who had mastered the elementary level of Kazakh, read their essays in the final class and showed how well they had mastered the language. The online course included students not only from Iran but also from countries such as Turkey and Brazil who speak Persian. Students from Allameh Tabatabai University's Department of Turkish Language and Literature and Dr. Mehdi Rezai, head of the department, and PhD Bolatbek Batyrkhan, head of the Department of Irantology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies spoke at the final session. Iranian students have expressed a desire to visit Kazakhstan to enhance their knowledge. In addition, the best students who participated in the course were awarded university certificates. The Kazakh language course for students at Allameh Tabatabai University will continue next semester.
