Introduction to the history of religion (Comparative Theology): History, concepts, methods

Within the framework of the 1150th anniversary of the great philosopher, scientist Abu Nasr Al-Farabi, a series of "Leadership lectures" of international level for teachers of Arabic language, doctoral students and masters, initiated by the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Middle East and South Asia of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, continues.

On November 17, 2020, in a series of lectures, a webinar was held on the topic "Introduction to the History of Religion (Comparative Theology): History, Concepts, Methods" conducted by Doctor of Religious Sciences Bashir Kardusi, who works at the Emir Abdelkader Islamic University in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

These lectures, which are always interesting, are constantly attended by farabiologists, teaching staff of the department and students from near and far abroad. During the meeting, participants were able to learn new information, ask questions and be answered on topics of interest.

The lecture, organized by the Department of Middle East and South Asia, was attended not only by scientists working in the field of religion and Islamic studies, but also by the general public interested in a given topic.
