President instructed to develop science

In his speech on the occasion of Science Day, our President K.K. Tokayev noted that the role of science in the era of modern technologies is very high. The environmental disasters occurring in our country can be prevented in the future by relying on science. Scientific achievements are not the result of one day or one year, science is a great achievement of mankind, born by systematic and hard work, great means and continuity of generations. Countries with advanced achievements in science are hegemonic in the world. It is necessary to join the ranks of these countries, developing domestic science. Our scientists, such as Kanysh Satbayev, worked tirelessly and showed that the future and wealth of Kazakhstan is great. Continuing this baton, the task of every Kazakhstani is to use the country's wealth to serve our people and improve their lives.

There is a Kazakh proverb: "Akyl - zhastan", which means "The mind is from the youth". That is why the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the future of Kazakhstan is in the hands of young scientists, who are responsible for our country to be in the ranks of civilized and advanced countries. The President pointed out that in the development of science should be guided by four directions: the first - the solution of environmental problems, the second - the development of the economy, the third - the use of the potential of artificial intelligence for public service and the fourth direction is the development of university science and scientific infra-structure.

The fourth direction is directly related to the training of young scholars at the university. Therefore, scientists working at the Faculty of Oriental Studies consider it their task to raise and train the young generation that will be responsible for the spiritual foundation of our country. The allocation of large funds by the state for the development of science and support of scientists will undoubtedly raise the status of scientists.
