The Department of Iranian Studies was especially preparing for the "Open Doors" day, which took place on April 11. At the invitation of the Department of Iranian Studies, 80 students arrived at this event together with teachers from the Specialized Lyceum No. 2 of Kargaly, Zhambyl district, Almaty region. Senior lecturer of the Department of Iranian Studies, Ph.D. Galiya Kambarbekova conducted quizzes on the topic of Iran for students and presented them with gifts. Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty Mohsen Faghani, Head of the Cultural Representation of Iran in Almaty Hossein Aghazadeh, representative of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Javad Hosseini took part in the "Open Doors" day as honorary guests, within the framework of the "Partnership for Sustainable Development" of the Sustainable Development Goals project. The Iranian Cultural Representation has prepared an exhibition of Iranian crafts for this event. Students and teachers showed great interest in this exhibition.
