In the period from March 26 to April 10, 2024, within the framework of the item “Quality education” of the project “Sustainable Development Goals” a scientific internship was held at the R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies for second-year undergraduates of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In two weeks, the participants of the internship listened to lectures from leading teachers, improved their skills in writing scientific articles, and learned how to design them correctly, as well as got acquainted with the internal structure of the educational institution. The internship provided students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of scientific work, and expand their knowledge in the field of Oriental studies and source studies. In general, the internship was successful and became an important stage in the professional development of undergraduates of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
