On February 24, 2024 as part of the project, senior adviser of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia A.Ye. Zhumadilova, held a curatorial hour in the dormitory No. 14 for undergraduate students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia on the topics “The Code of Honor of a student of al-Farabi Kazakh National University” and “Change time zones”.

During the curatorial hour, excerpts from the Code of Honor of a student of al-Farabi Kazakh National University were discussed, as well as practical issues on time zone translation, such as when, on which gadgets time needs to be changed, and how the establishment of a single time zone will eliminate time barriers between the regions of Kazakhstan, improve the ratio of transport and other communications, it will beneficially affect business processes, as well as the interaction of government agencies and emergency services. The students actively participated in the curatorial hour and received complete answers to their questions.
