A meeting with a veteran UN volunteer was held at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia

On February 23, within the framework of the partnership point for Sustainable Development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project, a meeting was held at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia with Roberto Boltri, a UN volunteer in Central Asia, a consultant on ecology and socio-economic development. The guest of honor, along with his wife, specially came to get acquainted with the Department of Iranian Studies and met with teachers of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia.

Mr. Roberto Boltri is a professor at the University of Bologna in Italy. Since 1996, he has been a UN volunteer for Central Asia, including Kazakhstan. Currently, he is dealing with the environmental problem of the Aral Sea. During the meeting with the teachers, he expressed his readyness to give lectures to the students of the faculty, along with lectures on ecology, on topics such as education abroad and employment abroad.
