World Hindi Day was celebrated in Almaty
World Hindi Day was celebrated in Almaty 08.02.2024 within the framework of the “Sustainable Development Goals” program, on the initiative of the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan, Dr. Nagendra Prasad and the Consul General in Almaty, Mr. Swapnil Kothawade, and with the participation of the Indology Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, a festive event was held on "World Hindi Day". The program carried the goals of promotion of Hindi language in Kazakhstan and the development of Indo-Kazakh cultural ties, which was attended by not only teachers and students of the Indology Department, but also by the Indian diaspora in Almaty.
