Visit to the museum named after A. Baitursynov
07/11/2023, 2nd year students of the specialty “Oriental Studies” of the Department of Arabic Studies, Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the house-museum of Akhmet Baitursynov, the brightest representative of the Kazakh intelligentsia. Akhmet Baitursynov is a Kazakh educator, teacher, publicist, translator, Turkic scholar, linguist and politician. One of the leaders and active figures in the Alash movement. The House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov is a memorial museum of Akhmet Baitursynov in the city of Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan). The museum is located in the house where he lived in 1933-1937. Students got acquainted with personal letters, books, photographs of the educator, and discussed important events of his life.
