Director of the Center for Arabic Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, ustaz Erkinbek Shokai, within the framework of the point of partnership for sustainable development of the project “Goals of Sustainable Development”, took part and made a presentation at the first Sharjan International Conference on the study of the Arabic language in Europe and other countries.

On October 29, 2023, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah UAE, Supreme President of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, officially announced the opening and sectional work of the first international conference "Arab studies in Europe and other countries: reality and prospects."

The purpose of the conference is to monitor the reality of the Arabic language in the countries of the European continent, analyze and assess the current state of Arabic culture, regulate cooperation in the field of knowledge and cultural exchange between the Academy and international institutions and global centers involved in teaching the Arabic language.

The conference was attended by more than 22 representatives from 11 European countries, including Italy, Poland, Germany, Spain, France, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, Turkey, Austria and Denmark.
