Table “Seven Sins” at Nauryz KazNU
The tradition of celebrating Nauryz in the countries of the world was shown at the university Nauryz, held on March 19. At this celebratory event, the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, in cooperation with the Cultural Representation at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented to the audience the traditional Iranian Nauryz table - the “Seven Sins” table and explained the essence of the spiritual meaning of this symbol of Nauryz. In addition, the guests got acquainted with a small exhibition of samples of Arabic-Persian calligraphy and photographs of historical sights of Iran.
