Al-Farabi library hosted a concert of the group "Nagme-i Baran"
On March 17, the al-Farabi Library hosted a concert of traditional music of the Iranian group "Nagme-i Baran", dedicated to the Nauryz holiday, organized by the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty and the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Teachers and students of the Almaty Musical College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. The art lovers who gathered for the concert also saw an exhibition of the Haft Sin table, a symbol of the Nauryz holiday in Iran, samples of Arabic-Persian calligraphy and photographs of historical sights of Iran, exhibited in the library hall. The concert was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Ravshan Bobokhonzoda, teachers and students of KazNU and other Almaty universities, representatives of the Iranian diaspora living in Almaty.
