WINTER SCHOOL FOR INDIAN STUDENTS
The Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized a winter school for Indian students on the topic "Kazakhstan and the Arab countries: cultural and historical connection" from February 13 to 24, 2023. This course was attended by students from Indian universities Vishva-Bharati, Calcutta, Kashmir and others.
These lectures, which were organized in Arabic, were taught by the teachers of the Arabic department of the department (F.Mamedova, А.Havan, N.Kairanbayev, А.Zhumadilova) on the topics: “Communication of the Kazakh and Arabic languages and culture”, “Harmony and general trends of modern Kazakh and Arabic literature”, “Introduction to the history of KazNU” and other relevant topics.
The winter school course was held online, and certificates were awarded upon completion.
