On February 14, 2023, a group of teachers, MA students and students of the Department of Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, in accordance with the plan of career guidance, organized a meeting with students of schools №34 and №35 of Taldybulak village of Talgar district of Almaty region and school №19 of Kyzyl-Kairat village. The first introductory speech was given to the deputy head of the department Zhumazhanova F.T. Students and undergraduates of the department of Arabic, Persian and Hindi read poems in the studied languages and decorated the meeting. Teachers of the department Iskakova Z.E., Kambarbekova G.A., Bokuleva B.S. gave the students an interesting lecture on such issues as the history of the formation of Oriental studies, evolution and the current state of development, development prospects. Students from all three schools asked many questions related to the specialization of Oriental studies. Asking interesting questions, active students were presented with collections of translations of students of the faculty.
