A meeting was held on the topic "Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Iran."

On December 15, 2020, an online meeting with the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Mr. Mohsen Fagani, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at the Iranian Studies Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
An online lecture on the topic "Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Iran" was timed to coincide with the 29th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence, where the topic of cooperation between the two countries was highlighted. The opening of the lecture was made by the head of the Iranian Studies Department B.Sh.Batyrkhan, who spoke about the Kazakh-Iranian relations and gave the floor to the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Mr. Mohsen Fagani.
Mr. M. Fagani, having studied the history and ancient ties of the two peoples, spoke about the values ​​of the Iranian-Kazakh relations.
He also stressed that from the very beginning of independence, common historical, cultural and spiritual ties between the two countries have become the basis for the dynamic development of our relations in all spheres. The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty is confident that in the future the relations and cooperation of Iran and Kazakhstan with each other and with other countries of the region will grow in different spheres.
