On December 11, 2019, a round table dedicated to the independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme "the Principle of independence"was held in the 303 audience. Organizers: teachers of the Department of cartography and Geoinformatics: Kushim A. G., Bekseitova R. T. the round table was attended by first-year students.

At a meeting dedicated to the independence Day, undergraduates filmed a video of the uprising on December 17, 1986 and shared their views. Koshum AG and Bekseitova R. T. shared their views as a witness to the events that led to the independence of Kazakhstan. Undergraduates asked many questions and aroused interest. At the end, everyone was congratulated on the upcoming Independence Day and the anthem was played.
