In March 26, 2021, at the Representative Office of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, a working meeting was held between the KazISS management and the head of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Political Science, Professor Gulnara Nasimova.

On behalf of KazISS, the meeting was attended by the director and deputy director of KazISS Zarema Shaukenova and Sanat Kushkumbayev, the head of the KaISS Representative Office in Almaty Asel Aben, fellows of the Representative Office - chief expert Bulat Auelbaev and engineer Berik Lespek.

Graduates of the political science department are in demand and work in the Presidential Administration, the Library of Elbasy, the Parliament, the Government, government agencies, scientific and educational institutions of the country. For many years, the Department of Political Science has been successfully training personnel for the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose Representative Office in Almaty is the base of industrial practice for undergraduates and doctoral students of the Political Science Department of Al-Farabi KazNU. Since 2017, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the department has been preparing doctoral students for targeted grants for the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department of Political Science and Political Technologies is greatly supported by the Aide to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a well-known Kazakhstani political scientist, Director of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014 - 2017) Karin E.T., who established scholarships for students T. Mustafin, S. Zhusupov, N. Masanov , L. Baideldinova.

During the meeting, plans and approaches to the training of political scientists, the increased requirements for the level of knowledge and competencies of the department's graduates for work in modern conditions in general in the scientific and expert field, and in particular in the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were thoroughly discussed.

The director of the KazISS thanked Gulnara Orlenbaevna and, through her, the entire faculty of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of Al-Farabi KazNU for many years of fruitful cooperation and painstaking work on training political scientists.
