Educational event on the topic "Psychology of Trilingualism"
In accordance with the state program "Rukhani zhagyru" on 08.12.2020 an educational event was held on the topic "Psychology of Trilingualism". Under the guidance of Professor Kim A.M. 1st year undergraduates of the specialization "Personality and Organizational Psychology" exchanged views on the policy of trilingualism, gave an analysis of the relevance of this problem, shared their personal impressions of the level of proficiency in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English, in which they study on the master’s program. In conclusion, the invited guest, PhD student Y. Katsman, read her poem in three languages. The poem is dedicated to her mother, the author herself translated it into English and Kazakh languages, preserving the poetic form. The undergraduates expressed their admiration both for the content of the poem and for the fact that their senior colleague is fluent in three languages.
