"Project 100 books"

On December 4, 2016 at 10:00 with students 1-3 rates of  "Psychology" department within the "100 books" project, teachers of general and applied psychology department: Madaliyev Z.B., Baymoldina L.O., Kudaybergenova S.K., held an educational event "Parables, legends and myths in work of the psychologist" in the NAPK psychological center. Venue: Business center "Bayzak", office 608.

Parables, legends and myths are related to a bibliotherapy - it is the psychotherapy method using literature as one of treatment forms of the word. Since the oldest times people are subject to influence of writing. The instruction to use books to treat pathological conditions of the person, began in public, medical and correctional facilities in the Middle Ages to help people to cope with mental and physical illnesses. Reasons for invoicing of a compounding of books were attempt to keep moral freedom it proceeded throughout the first centuries. Practice therapeutic reading affirmed and became legal, two categories of treatment were offered: physical and spiritual. By the end of the 18th century such therapy was widely adopted also in many lunatic asylums of Europe where libraries were created. Use of reading books for the purpose of the solution of personal problems urgent and presently. Students were told about bibliotherapy opportunities, then students tried to find application for medical texts in correctional and psychoscheduled maintenance. Madaliyeva Z. B. showed as specially picked up literature can be used by the psychologist for the purpose of normalization or optimization of his mental condition.
