The Seventh International Conference "Sport and Security"

On October 6, 2023, the Seventh International Conference "Sport and Security" was held at the Sports National Academy (Sofia, Bulgaria).

The conference was opened by the Rector of the National Academy of Sciences (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychologist of the Bulgarian national rhythmic gymnastics team - Tatiana Yancheva.

The round table was attended by high-level specialists: the government, the Mayor of Sofia - Yordanka Fandykova, the Minister of Youth and Sports - Daniela Dasheva, the head coaches of the Bulgarian national teams, the presidents of the Bulgarian sports Federations, domestic and international scientific experts in the field of sports and sports psychology, as well as specialists and representatives of security services.

Key issues of the conference:

  • A safe and reliable environment for physical education and sports.
  • The order of public safety and the safety of participants in sports events
  • Violence in sports – forms, manifestations, overcoming
  • Psychological pressure on the coach
  • Information security, fake news, social networks
  • Sport as a factor in preventing and countering aggression and violence among young people, hooliganism and racism in sports.

Within the framework of the conference, reports were presented and master classes were held from leading scientists in the field of sports, honored coaches and security service specialists.

Kazakhstan was represented at the conference by a doctoral student of KazNU, a sports psychologist, Krasmik Yu. N. and Rakhmalin B. R., a master's student of KazAST, a teacher of physical culture.

The authors of the article are a doctoral student of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Krasmik Yu.P. and professor of the Department of Aimaganbetov O.Kh.
