On April 21, 2023, the XV Republican Student Subject Olympiad in Psychology, held on the basis of KazNU im.al-Farabi, ended.

It was attended by 18 universities of Kazakhstan, 54 talented students.

The winners of the 1st-3rd round were:

• - Winner of the "Testing in basic psychological disciplines" tour - Trippel Alena Viktorovna, student of KazSLU;
• - Second round "Psychodiagnostics" - Ilya Andreevich Gorbunov - Central Kazakhstan Academy (Karagandy);
• - The third round - "Psychological debate" - student of the Gumilyov National University Nurlan Aruzhan Ruslankyzy.

The tours were interesting and productive. For example, students discussed the development of psychology in the digital age, which is the future.

Overall results:

• 3rd place with a score of 222.8 points was taken by Ilya Andreevich Gorbunov (Central Kazakhstan Academy);
• 3rd place with a score of 225.1 points was taken by a student of Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov - Nagaytsev Taras Olegovich;
• 3rd place with a score of 230.2 points was won by Nurlan Aruzhan Ruslankyzy - ENU after L. Gumilyov;
• 2nd place with a score of 233.6 points was taken by student of Karaganda University named after Buketov - Soroka Angelina Evgenievna;
• 2nd place with a score of 248.4 points was taken by Trippel Alena Viktorovna (Kazakh State Law University);
• 1st place with a result of 252.2 points was taken by Askarova Nursaule Aisenbekkyzy (KazNU named after al-Farabi).

The ceremony of awarding and closing of the Olympiad was attended by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science for Science, Associate Professor Alchimbaeva A.B., Chairman of the Jury - Doctor PhD Alia Tolegenova. (Nur-Mubarak International University) and jury members - the oldest psychologist, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Nadia Seilkhanovna Akhtaeva, historian of psychology Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Zharas Seitnurovich Seytnur, Doctor PhD Laura Orazbekovna Baimoldina, psychologist-practitioner Zhuldyzai Aliyeva (Republican Center for Mental Health); Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology A.K. Mynbaeva, Head of the NIRS of the Department of General and Applied Psychology S.K. Kudaibergenova, Deputy Head of General and Applied Psychology for Science Z.M. Sadvakasova.

On April 20 and 21, 2023, trainings were held for teachers and students - Ph.D., associate professor E.K. Kalymbetova, invited psychologist-practitioner Zh.A. Bizhanova on existential psychology.

Special thanks to the doctoral students of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, two master's students of the 1st year, 5 students for their help in opening and holding, closing the Olympiad.
