On April 19-21, 2023, on the basis of KazNU after al-Farabi, the XV Republican Student Subject Olympiad in Psychology was held.

The Olympiad was attended by 54 young talented students from 18 universities of Kazakhstan:

1. Maqsut Narikbayev University;
2. Kostanay University named after A. Baytursynov;
3. Abai Kazakh National University;
4. Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov;
5. Astana International University;
6. Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi;
7. Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov;
8. Kainar Academy;
9. Caspian Community University;
10. Kazakh National Pedagogical University;
11. Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilev;
12. South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov;
13. Taraz Regional University;
14. Central Kazakhstan University (Karaganda);
15. Shakarim Family City University;
16. Turan University;
17. Turan Astana University;
18. Sh.Valikhanov Kokshetau University.

Of these, 5 universities took part in the Olympiad for the first time:

1. Maqsut Narikbayev University;
2. A. Baitursynov Kostanay University;
3. Astana International University;
4. South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov;
5. Caspian Community University.

All of them were selected at their universities. 20 coaches and accompanying persons came with the teams.

Alchimbaeva, Head of the NIRS Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science S. Amitov, Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology A.K. Mynbaeva, Head of the NIRS Department of General and Applied Psychology S.K. Kudaibergenova, jury members N.S. Akhtaev, Zh.S. Seytnur, Deputy Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology for Science Z.M. Sadvakasova.

The opening took place in the al-Farabi Scientific Library, in the Abai Hall (308 aud), where a festive positive scientific atmosphere reigned.

On April 20, 2023, students participating in the Olympiad were tested in 4 basic compulsory subjects, studied the psychodiagnosis case, and passed the debate.

The assessment of the students' works was carried out by the leading scientists of Kazakhstan, who were included in the jury: Doctor PhD Aliya Tolegenova (International University of Nur-Mubarak), the oldest scientist-psychologist, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Nadia Seilkhanovna Akhtaeva, historian of psychology, candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor Zharas Seitnurovich Seytnur, doctor PhD Laura O Razbekovna Baimoldina, psychologist-practitioner Zhuldyzai Aliyeva (Republican Center for Mental Health).
