According to the schedule of educational events, on March 19, 2021, teachers of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature held an educational Zoom-seminar on the topic: "How to properly organize your educational activities?"

1st and 2nd year undergraduates and advisers of the Faculty of Philology became active participants in the event. The purpose of the event, which was indicated by the organizers of the educational event Tattimbetova K.O., Kulbaeva A.Zh. - to form effective skills in planning your time to achieve goals; prioritization and monitoring of implementation.

This event was focused on familiarization and practical application of effective methods of time management:

• Ø     Setting goals; priorities; self-discipline;
• Ø     Pareto principle (20/80);
• Ø     7 Murphy's laws;
• Ø     Eisenhower matrix;
• Ø    

In our opinion, such events dedicated to the formation of effective skills in planning one's time are relevant in teaching students.

To form holistic ideas about the methods of time management, the teachers of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature prepared the Time Management quest, and also used visual aids (presentation, video fragments, mobile applications that make students understand the need and importance of planning their time for achieving educational goals Time management technology, or time management - includes planning methods that are used to self-increase the efficiency of using work and personal time.

The teachers used the ratio of previously prepared material and improvisation: verbal (interactive conversation, story), visual (demonstration, illustrations, mobile applications), practical methods corresponding to the age characteristics of students, the level of their intellectual and personal development.

With the help of the quest, the students got acquainted with the Pareto Principle (20/80); 7 Murphy's Laws; the Eisenhower matrix; Gantt chart. The event took place in a relaxed atmosphere. Students and teachers answered with pleasure, looked for answers to problems.

The presence of emotional contact between the participants of the event and its organizers, the novelty of information, the connection of the content with life experience influenced the attitudes, feelings, beliefs of students and became the basis for achieving the set goals and a high level of implementation of educational tasks.
