On February 16, 2022, a 1st-year master's student of the specialty "Sociology", together with a teacher Gulnara Alyevna, conducted an open educational lesson as part of pedagogical practice for 3rd-year students of the Russian department of "Sociology".The event was attended by a topic on working on the "Canva" platform – as a method of reviewing research work". The topics of the thesis were discussed, tips on the structure of writing work for students were provided. This program allows you to expand not only the range of knowledge for writing a thesis, but also for personal purposes. Also, an open laboratory lesson was held on this day on the topic "Mind Maps as tools for preparing a review of previous studies. Methods of evaluation and generalization of previous studies".

The main issues were raised:

1. Mind Map as a literary review organization.

2. How does the scheme allow analyzing and critically evaluating the previous literature?

3. How does the scheme determine the general plan for writing a sociological study?

    Students actively participated in the discussion and provided their work and discussion on the compilation of a literary review in the framework of a sociological study.
