Familiarization of students with the project” JasSpark"
Within the framework of “Columbia University Global Health Research Center of Central Asia ” on 02/15/2022, the project “ JasSpark " was presented with the participation of students of 1-3 courses of the specialty” Social Work“ of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, 4th year students of "Sociology", organized in order to reduce the stigma of HIV to increase HIV testing using the crowdsourcing method among adolescents and youth of Kazakhstan.
The main idea is to reduce the stigma of HIV and develop a crowdsourcing digital intervention for young people of Kazakhstan to test with their own solution. To assess its effectiveness, a pilot testing of a crowdsourcing intervention for HIV was conducted. Organized under the guidance of Senior lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Social Work Avsydykov K. A., an eventful meeting took place on the zoom platform with the speaker of the webinar - Ms. Tolegenova Akbota.
