November 28, 2014 at the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi held an online conference with the students of Moscow State Linguistic University dedicated to the idea of Eurasianism Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Our students had the unique with opportunities to discuss this phenomenon not only in the seminars, but also with representatives of other states in real time. It was very interesting to know what to think about this Russian youth, which represents the Russian public as a whole. Online conference program included a presentation on the topic of Eurasianism, exchange of questions, as well as communication in the form of free discussion and exchange of views. First of all, I want to mention incredibly friendly and comfortable atmosphere, which was throughout the conference, despite the fact that the opinions of the participants did not always coincide. This gave our discussion of even greater interest. Equally consider the interests of both Russia and Kazakhstan. A pleasant surprise was the fact that Moscow students approached us in the Kazakh language with a welcoming speech by demonstrating not only an excellent command of the language, but also a tribute to our country. One of the most exciting moment was watching a movie about the importance of learning the Kazakh language, which was filmed by students mist. Worth noting that the film was made very creatively and with a great love for our culture. Nice to know that our traditions and way of life are of interest not only to young people within our region, but also in such powers as the Russian Federation. On a positive note, our university students listened to interesting presentations Xenia Bykova, Elizabeth Osipova, Andrew Belyankina the idea of Eurasianism, the importance of Russian-Kazakh cooperation, the perception of this phenomenon in the media. It is necessary to highlight the fact that in each report provided a deep analysis of the topic, the objective facts, as well as personal opinion Rapporteur. Each of these works was of great interest and a lively discussion. Tragically, the time allotted for the conference, was not enough to continue the presentations, and we had to interrupt our discussion. Nevertheless, students of both universities have taken the initiative to repeat the experience of such conferences in order to continue our conversation and affect many other important topics. We look forward to MSLU students in our city with the prospect of organizing a summer camp within the Center for Eurasian Studies. We hope to work more together, because young people - is the engine of the future. And perhaps it will contribute to our efforts fruitful cooperation and the development of two powerful states - Russia and Kazakhstan.
