The ceremonial meeting dedicated to the presentation of the book series “Өнегелі өмір” was organized in the lecture hall named after F. Baimbetov on the 22nd of December, 2014.

Family members and close friends were invited to the ceremony devoted to academician F. Baimbetov. Rector for Research-Innovation Affairs Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Ramazanov T.S., Professor Arkhipov Yu. V., Baizakov S.B., academician Kozhamkulov T. A. and students shared their memories about the academician F. Baimbetov. During the event several books dedicated to the academician F. Baimbetov were presented, in particular the Journal of KazNU, the physicsl series ‘‘Our Elite’ and a collection of F. Baimbetov’s lectures “Fundamentals of plasma physics”. It should be noted that this tutorial is the first textbook on plasma physics, published in Kazakh language. F.B. Baimbetov’s textbook was left unfinished due to his death and to complete his work a working group of scientists was organized. The tutorial was prepared for studying in the field of "Physics", "Nuclear physics" and "Technical physics".

At the end of the gala evening the best students of the Department of plasma physics and computer physics Usenov E. A., Niyazymbetov A., Rysbekova J., Orazbay S. and Begaliev A. were awarded with scholarships academician F. Baimbetova.
