On March 20, 2021 on the Zoom platform, the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages, Zhirenshina K.A. and the teacher of the Deaprtment of Chinese Studies, Mettibayeva Sandugash held the online event on the topic: “Überall auf Der Welt: Niederlande, Polen und Kasachstan treffen sich”. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan. The students of the 1st year of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare and the 3rd year of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the students from Poland and the Netherlands took part in the event. The purpose of this event was to introduce to cultures and education systems of the Netherlands, Poland and Kazakhstan. The event started with a short video about Kazakhstan. Student Dauylbaeva Madina prepared a very interesting and informative presentation about our university. She told the foreign guests about the history of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and its current achievements. Milana Matyash and Erzhainak Tazabek, the 1st and the 2nd year students, made the presentation about Kazakhstan, the Nauryz holiday, the traditions and the customs of Kazakh people. The foreign guests really liked   kyui performance on the dombra and the song in the Kazakh language performed by the 3rd year student, Kamalova Gulfan. The students from the Netherlands and Poland, Martyna Olesińska, Anne-Sophie Straathof made the reports about their countries and shared interesting facts about their motherlands. The event was held in two languages ​​- German and English. Then the students held games for guests, a quiz about national dishes and Kazakh instruments, and also taught phrases in the Kazakh language and explained their meanings in German and English. A guest from Poland shared her impressions of the event Martyna: “I had a great time! I really like to learn more about other countries and now after this meeting I really want to visit Kazakhstan and the Netherlands! I also like to talk about my country, I hope people liked it! The musical performance was amazing. It was also great to know about your holiday. I'm very happy about that. The games were really funny and I was sometimes surprised by the names of things and their pronunciation. I really liked the meeting! "
