On March 16, 2021 at the Faculty of Philology of KazNU, Department of Foreign Languages, Associate Professor U.B. Adilbayeva and senior lecturer G.A. Gaiipova with the senior lecturer of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Artikova E.U organized an educational event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kazakh poet, writer, translator Mukagali Makatayev among the 1st year students. Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh national university and Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University made an online presentation in English, read the poems of the great poet and noted the special significance of his works for the Kazakh people.
