The Publishing house "Kazakh University" prepared the book dedicated to the life and work of Abish Kekilbaeva, public and political figure, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, the national writer of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize, philologist, academician of the Academy of Social Sciences.  Many literary-critical articles and speeches are devoted to his literary work. For example, the German critics called him "a writer-storyteller." Today he is recognized as a master of literary prose and art critic, author of dozens of books, novels, stories and essays, published in Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek, Ukrainian, Estonian, German, Spanish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Polish, Turkish, English and many other languages.
