On April 20, 2021, on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, a large online event was held in Kazakh and English on the topic "My motherland", organized by the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages: Duysenbayeva Sh. S. The 1st-year students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Turan University took par in the event.

   The purpose of the event: to foster faithful service to your country, to be a significant citizen of your country. Students took an active part in the online event dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day "My motherland", which demonstrated the stories of heroes who showed courage, bravery, and love for the Motherland. The event achieved its goal with the interest and active participation of students who think about the future of our country, faithful service to the country and the realization that they are important citizens of their country.
