On April 19, 2021, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, an online event was held in Kazakh and English on the topic “Heroes will never die", organized by the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages: Duysenbayeva Sh. S. The 1st-year students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the K. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University participated in the event.

   The purpose of the event: to foster respect for the heroes who paid tribute to the motherland, veterans who returned from the war. Students took an active part in the online event , dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, realizing the heroism of our heroes who returned from the war, reading poems, were able to convey that the historical significance of the Great Victory is patriotism, which made a decisive step towards the formation of an independent country. The event achieved its goal with the active participation of students, awareness of the historical significance of the Great Victory, the feat of our heroes who gave their lives for the Motherland.
