On October 18, 2018, the AICT 2018 international conference was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The conference materials included the SCOPUS BASE. The conference was held in the following SECTIONS:

• BIG DATA MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION

• DATA MINING AND DATA ENGINEERING

• HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING AND MACHINE LEARNING

• CYBER SECURITY ISSUE

• EMERGING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN ICT APPICATION

The conference started with the opening speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Tukeev Ualisher Anvarbekovich.

At the plenary session, the senior teacher of the computer science department, Mansurova Madina Yesimkhanovna, made a presentation on the theme of the “Design of the k-a-killing algorithm in pgas based mapreduce framework”.

The teaching staff of the Department of Informatics took an active part in the conference. At the “BIG DATA MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION” section, the head of the computer science department, Baydaulet Urmashev, and senior lecturers Aisulu Tursynbay, Almas Temirbekov, Aidana Amantaeva, made a presentation on the topic “Solving the problem of pharmacokinetics for a linear twocompartment with access”.

In the section “HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING AND MACHINE”, senior lecturers Beimbet Daribayev and Danil Lebedev made a presentation on the topic “ Implementation of the Two-Dimensional Elliptic Equation Model in LuNA Fragmented Programming System ”.

In the section “COMMUNICATION, NETWORK AND HARDWARE”, undergraduate student of the Department of computer science Mussina Aigerim and Senior Lecturer Aubakirov Sanjar made a presentation on the topic “RSSI Based Bluetooth Low Energy Indoor Positioning”.

In general, the conference was held at a high international level.
