Activists of the youth organization “Nevada-Semey” at the Al-Farabi KazNU on November 13, 2018 organized a round table on the theme “A world without nuclear weapons is our common goal”. During the round table, questions about the history and achievement of the International Anti-Nuclear Movement “Nevada-Semey”, the activities of the youth organization “Nevada-Semey” of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were discussed.

Greetings were made by Associate Professor of the UNESCO Сhair on Sustainable Development Orazbayev Adilkhan Yergeshevich. We are pleased that the youth wing of the International Anti-Nuclear Movement “Nevada-Semey” functions in our university. I think young people will be able to successfully achieve the goals that were set initially by this movement.

During the round table, the Chairperson of the youth organization “Nevada-Semey” of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the 2nd year doctoral candidate of the UNESCO Сhair on Sustainable Development Gulzhanat Bakytovna spoke. On behalf of the participants of the youth organization “Nevada-Semey” KazNU named after Al-Farabi, the undergraduate of the 1st course of the specialty “Ecology” Tastybai Meruert spoke. “I am very proud that I am a member of the youth organization“ Nevada-Semey ”of the Al-Farabi KazNU.
