Mass seismic training
On February 23, 2024, as part of the mass seismic training planned by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the teaching staff of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development conducted exercises among students for actions in case of an emergency. The purpose of the exercise was to increase the level of preparation of students of the faculty for action in extreme situations, the determination of evacuation routes by students in advance, safe places on campus. After the siren was turned on at 10.00, students and teachers of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management left the academic building en masse, gathered in open areas and listened to explanations from teachers and the dean of the Faculty on actions in the event of an earthquake.
