“FARABI ALEMI” -2021

          Annually in early April, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organizes the largest international scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi”. The conference serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and scientific developments between researchers from different branches of science.

Due to quarantine measures this year, the conference was held online.

          Thus, at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages, the conference was organized in 9 sections and united more than 200 young researchers from different universities.

          The fifth section of the conference “Actual issues of teaching foreign languages” was attended by students and graduates from Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical university, university of foreign languages ​​and business career, civil aviation college students. A distinctive feature of the fifth section of the conference was that all speakers presented the results of their work in English. The conference participants familiarized the audience with the results of their research work, openly interacted with each other, exchanged views and discussed topical scientific issues.

          As a result of the breakout sessions, the moderators noted the reports of students and graduates who distinguished themselves not only for their excellent command of the English language, but also most fully revealed the essence of their research and clearly presented its results to a wider audience.

          The winners of the conference "Farabi Alemi" were awarded diplomas of the rector of al-Farabi Kazakh National University and letters of appreciation.

The following students and graduates were announced as conference winners:

Ist degree diploma: Sovetova Narayym

II degree diploma: Kayratkyzy Ayman, Amirzakova Arnur

III degree diploma: Bikeneeva Elmira, Dauylbaeva Madina, Manabaeva Arai.

Despite the remote format of this scientific event, friendly relations were developed between the conference participants, scientific contacts were established and a wish for further cooperation was expressed.
