World Standards in Teaching Languages at the Kazakh National University

The TOEFL Center for the preparation and passing of the English language examination is operating successfully at the Kazakh National University. The Center was opened and received an international license under the agreement with the American organization ETS (Educational Testing Service) in 2020. On November 14, 2020, the TOEFL exam was held at the Al-Farabi library.

A great deal of work on its organization and development is carried out by the Director of the Center, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Muldagalieva Aizhan Aydyngalievna. The Center employs teachers with substantial experience in preparing for exams: Gumarova Sholpan Bilashevna, Blavachinskaya Irina Valerievna. They have extensive resources for teaching and passing the test successfully: books, electronic, audio, video materials from the official representative of the Educational Testing Service. The exam is conducted by qualified administrators who have an ETS certificate Bershina Nadezhda Vasilievna and Shayakhmet Asel Kinayatkyzy. Teachers use all their diverse scientific, organizational and pedagogical experience to help candidates understand the structure of testing, consolidate language knowledge, build a coherent system of language elements, prepare themselves psychologically and thereby help to pass the test in the best possible way.
