“King Arthur” is a 2004 action-adventure, historical feature film co-produced by the US, UK and Ireland. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua.
452 AD young Sarmatians left their native lands. A year earlier, their fathers had fought in the Battle in the Catalaunian Fields, and the Romans, who were impressed by their courage, had decided to keep their lives. But in return, these soldiers pledged to give their children to serve in the Roman cavalry.

Young Sarmatians were taken to Britain, to a Roman bastion, where they got to know their future commander, young Artorius Castus or Arthur. His father was killed in the battle, and the boy was raised by the Erisiarch Pelagius, who preached free will and the right of people to self-determination.
15 years had passed since then, and by 467, Arthur and the Sarmatians gained resounding fame among the Romans and Britons for their deeds. Of those who arrived in the island, Lancelot, Tristan, Gawain, Galahad, Bors and Dagonet remained alive. In spite of their distinction from the Romans, Arthur was able to instill in them a spirit of nobility, loyalty and brotherhood.
