On April 6 , 2023 at 14:00, the 6th meeting of the English language club “English through Culture” was held. The meeting of the club was held in accordance with the plan for April 2022-2023 academic year with the participation of the club members and organized by the head of the club, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages Aliyarova L.M., Khalenova A.R. The 6th meeting of the club was devoted to the topic «Water pollution control in the world». Club members were 1st year students of the Faculty of Law. 

The aim of the event: to improve students’ understanding of water pollution drivers and pollution prevention and management.

       Within the framework of the meeting of the club, first of all, presentations and reports of the participants of the event were heard. Water pollution is one of the known and one of the biggest problems in our world. So, at the meeting, which was called «Water pollution control in the world»", the students covered and analyzed the problem of water, its pollution and methods of combating water pollution. The students divided the topic into several parts and explained the important aspects of the problem.

Goals 

Goal 1: Reduce Air Pollution.

Goal 2: Improve Water Quality.

Goal 3: Promote Sustainable Materials Management and Waste Management, and Clean Sites.

Goal 4: Improve Joint Preparedness for and Response to Hazardous Environmental Emergencies

Baltash Damili offered her methods of preventing the problem, and Beisetai Merey explained the importanance of protecting the seas, oceans and rivers. Kemelbekov Daryn and Ergali Aruzhan even had opposite points of view, which increased the students' interest in the topic. And the discussion was interesting, because everyone prepared their own presentation.

   At the end of the event, the head of the club, senior teacher L.M. Aliyarova made a speech and expressed her warm sincere wishes to the students.
