This year celebrates Mukagali Makatayev’s 90’s anniversary, the great Kazakh poet. So on April 27 2021, ​​Ushkempirov B.M. , the teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages together with 1st year students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an online meeting. During the meeting, the students learnt about the poet’s creative work. They found out that M. Makatayev’s poems are the golden fund of Kazakh poetry. The talent, born in the first half of the twentieth century, absorbing the national origins in spirit and body, became the most beloved poet of his people. Students spent time in a pleasant atmosphere reading the poet's poems each other. Mukagali is a poet who respected his people, native language and homeland. In his song "Three Happiness", he encouraged the younger generation to love their people, language and homeland. The meeting ended with the song "Three Happiness" performed by the 1st year student Bazargali Akerke.
